Female and male teachers in different Jordanian schools protested

Female and male teachers in different Jordanian schools protested on Thursday to express their resentment over the assault on Al-Marqab Secondary School for Boys in Lwa’a Marka, which was attacked on Wednesday by some students’ relatives, who assaulted the teachers and the principle by rocks and sharp weapons, and destroyed the school facilities.

The vigil happened during the first class in a way that reflects the teachers’ anger over such act conducted by some outlaws. They asked the government to enforce laws with penalties that will protect the teachers and maintain their dignity.

Vice Chairman of the Teachers' Committee, Ibrahim Shabana and some other members participated in the vigil, adding that the union called ministry of Education and ministry of Interior to deal and solve this case properly.
