Saietta Group, the British-based company that specializes in electric drivetrains, describes the new bike as a ground-breaking, high-performance vehicle but also claims that it is simply the first step in a much broader revolution.

"Saietta intends to shake up vehicle sectors including cars, scooters, motorcycles and tuck tucks with electric drivetrains that surpass what can be achieved with internal combustion engines," said company co-founder Lawrence Marazzi.

The company's electric engines already power the majority of the world's best electric racing bikes and its most recent road bike, the Saietta R, was as imposing to look at as it was exciting to ride.

The new model will pick up where the Saietta R left off.
