Warsaw - Arab Today
This vivid home on Chłodna street was adapted to the living needs of the designer (who also happens to be the owner of the apartment). Two of the major attributes of the crib are coziness and space. A modern design enthusiast, Pawel Nastanski envisioned an open plan living and dining area as the social core of his project. A massive glass door was intentionally left uncovered in order to bring in as much natural light as possible.
An elegant kitchen island in the middle separates the cooking zone from the rest of the living room. Bold color contrasts and extensive use of wood make this home particularly welcoming. The most striking furniture element- the black sofa- is powerfully emphasized by yellow cushions and a neighboring carpet in bright red and orange. Horizontal shelving units were custom made for books, magazines and CDs. As you can see in the last photos of this post, the bedroom is simple, imagined in perfect harmony with the rest of the crib.
