Egyptian star Ghada Abdel Razek Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek has revealed that she does not plan to get married and have more children now that she is a grandmother. The star’s first granddaughter, Khadija, was born in January. In an interview with Arab Today, the 48-year-old actress affirmed she had changed public perceptions by proving herself in films that did not depend on her \"seductive charm.\"
Referring to previous silver screen appearances, she said she had made mistakes in her choice of roles because she \"did not have the right people around to advise her.\"
Ghada also took the opportunity to play down her looks, describing herself as \"acceptably attractive\" rather than beautiful, adding that she thought it was her charisma that made her stand out.
Going back on her previous claim to be \"hotter than Haifa Wehbe\", she praised the beauty of the Lebanese star and that of singer Nancy Ajram, insisting that there was \"no woman more beautiful than Haifa in Egypt.\"
Turning to the topic of her ex-husband, Mohamed ?Fouda, the Egyptian celebrity called him the \"last respectable man\", citing his support for her in difficult periods. She said that if they lived ?together they would \"destroy the house\" - but at the same time could not be apart.
Ghada recounted her chance meeting Egyptian director Khaled Youssef, and explained that she had turned down a role in the film, Very Grown-Up, which looked into the issue of incest.
