Muamen al-Hawi and his daughter Sarah

When the sunset falls on the streets of Alexandria, Muamen al-Hawi and his daughter Sarah, walk every day between al-Manshiyya area, Raml Station, Miami or al-Asafra, they have no specific place, and they offer acrobats and dangerous games for pedestrians on their way.

Al-Hawi explained, in interview with Arabs Today, that he is a simple young man, 40 years old, who has been working in this profession since he was young. He worked for himself after the death of his father, despite this, he obtained a secondary diploma in the field of cooling.  He continued to do this work until he married. Al-Hawi said that Sarah helps him every day to help his family and their requirements. She represents him with sincerity and affection. She is obedient and sometimes afraid of dangerous games.

He pointed out that his daughter Sarah plays with fire and tamed it by jumping through a flaming ring or blowing in the fire after drinking gas or jumping over the high flames, explaining that his daughter is 9 years old and she plays this game since 5 years.

Adding that he did not put his daughter at risk if some thought that, but he is always keen on her safety, and means to protect her from dangerous of these games.

He pointed out that he always deals with the movements in a narrow place and does not harm anyone and has a small fire extinguisher with him, stressing he was not exposed in any day to accidental incident because God knows that he seeks daily to earn a living.

Regarding the nature of his games, al-Hawi explained that He plays with scorpions, which is a dangerous game. He makes the scorpion dance over his hand and moves his tail right and left in happiness, pointing out that he always implements new movements and games with his daughter.

"Summer games are different than winter games, in the winter, they perform one game or two new games, because the movement and the public in the street is a little, but in the summer, many games are played out and not repeated due to the large number of queues," al-Hawi stated.

Sarah talked about her experience with her father, explaining that she was happy to work with him and feel safe with him.
