Sebastian Taborda has played over 40 games for Spanish side Deportivo la Coruña
Saudi football club al-Nassr are trying to sign Uruguayan striker Sebastian Taborda, after he was identified as a potential transfer target by fellow countryman and manager Daniel Carreño
.The 31-year-old is currently at Club Nacional in Uruguay, having played for clubs in Mexico and Deportivo la Coruña in Spain. Al-Nassr are waiting for a response from Club Nacional as they look to replace injured Ecuadorian forward Jaime Ayoví.
Meanwhile, al-Nassr players are back in training for Monday's league fixture against al-Ettifaq. The management has confirmed that upon Carreño's request, all training sessions until the end of the week will take place behind closed doors, to protect players from media pressure.
After al-Ettifaq, al-Nassr will play al-Hilal in the Crown Price Cup on Friday.
