Egypt's right wing Mohamed Salah was chosen as Roma's "Player of the Year", the official website of the Serie A club announced Sunday.

Salah has claimed the award after a one-week vote by Roma fans worldwide.

The shortlist of nominees for the Giallorossi's fans player of the year 2016 also gathered Edin Dzeko, Kostas Manolas, Alessandro Florenzi, Diego Perotti, and Radja Nainggolan.
