Raja Casablanca coach Mohammad Fakhir is on course for 10th league title
Moroccan club Raja Casablanca have won the honorary autumn title after a convincing 4-1 victory over Difaa El Jadida.
The result saw the Green Eagles end the table on top with 32 points, and
a three point advantage over 2nd-placed FAR Rabat.
Casablanca's goals came across the 90 minutes. Hamza Abu Razzouk gave them an 11th minute lead, before Vivian Mabidi doubled the advantage in the 37th minute. Four minutes later, it was 3-0 as Yassine Salhi got himself on the scoresheet. In the second half, Zakaria Haddrav pulled a goal back for Difaa El Jadida to give them hope, but Jamal Sellami's team failed to capitalise. Raja Casablanca scored their fourth of the game late on, when Ismail Kusham netted in the 90th minute.
The Moroccan team will travel to Antalya in Turkey next week to prepare for the second half of the season. The competition will resume after the national team returns from the African Nations Cup, which is taking place in South Africa between January 19 and February 10.
