Kid Galahad has won five of his 12 fights by knockout Unbeaten boxer Kid Galahad made it 13 fights without a loss after a one-sided victory over Latino Ivan Ruiz Morote in Hull on Saturday. The British-born Qatari whose real name is Abdul Barry Awad, beat Morote with his speed before forcing the stoppage in the fourth round. The fight was televised on British terrestrial station Channel Five and the 22-year old from Sheffield\'s Wincobank gym made a statement.
After his sixth victory inside the distance, Galahad called out fellow British fighters Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg for a showdown in 2013. He told Channel Five: \"I will be too quick for them (Frampton and Quigg) and they won\'t be able to deal with my speed and power.\"
Galahad\'s promoter Mick Hennessy said that a fight with either one of Frampton or Quigg would be a mega British bout and a fight Galahad could realistically win.
In the main event on the Hull card, James Degale won the vacant WBC silver super-middleweight title when he outpointed Fulgencio Zuniga. In the supporting fight, Chris Eubank Jr stopped Olegs Fedotovs in the second round.
