JSM Béjaïa are favourite qualify for next round
Algerian side JSM Béjaïa is set to face Nigeria\'s Olympic Niamey in the second leg of the preliminary round of the African Champions League.
The Ligue Professionnelle One side heads into the game
with a 3-0 advantage from the first leg at the Stade de l\'Unité Maghrébine two weeks ago.
Upon arrival in Niger on Monday, Béjaïa\'s Italian coach Giovanni Solinas said he feared for his players, who are not used to playing in hot and humid conditions.
However, Solinas is looking forward to the game and wants Béjaïa to put in a team performance away from home to qualify for the next round.
The Algerians are missing several players for the second leg, with skipper Brahim Zafour injured, and striker Boubacar Bangoura and midfielder Moussa Coulibaly ineligible for the African Champions League.
Despite the absentees, the Algerian team is confident of building on an impressive win in the first leg.
Ahead of the match at the Général Seyni Kountché Stadion, Olympic Niamey\'s coach has dismissed Béjaïa\'s advantage, describing them as \"average\" and predicting a comfortable win for his team.
