Sheikh Hamden bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, was crowned champion in the Gulf Endurance Cup that was held on Saturday at Sabah Al-Ahmad Heritage Village in Kuwait.
Sheikh Hamdan rode to victory in 3:49:05.
Meanwhile, the UAE's Abdullah Ghanim came second in the contest in which 138 horsemen and horsewomen from Kuwait and the Gulf region participated.
'We are always interested in sharing experiences with our GCC and Arab fellows to identify points of strength and weakness so as to have better performance in upcoming championships, ' Sheikh Hamdan said, adding that the UAE riders have earned great experiences from their participation in international championships which enabled them to win top titles.
Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah presented the championship shield to Sheikh Hamdan.
