The Dubai-based carrier "flydubai" said on Monday it will suspend flights to and from Doha as of Tuesday after the United Arab Emirates severed ties with Qatar, Sky News reported.

Earlier in the day, the Abu Dhabi-based "Etihad Airways" said it will suspend all flights to and from Doha as of Tuesday morning.

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain announced early Monday cutting diplomatic ties with Qatar to protect their national security from the dangers of terrorism and extremism.
