Renowned Egyptian actor Hamdy Ahmed passed away on Friday morning at the age of 82 after a surprise health problem.

The funeral prayers will be held following Friday prayers in Al Hosary Mosque in the Sixth of October city, Actors Syndicate board member Sameh el Sereity told MENA.

The late actor was best known for his appearances in numerous television soap operas and cinema movies.
