Lebanese singer Rola Saad has released a new song, marking the first time the star has ever sung in an Iraqi dialect in public. The release comes as more and more performers turn to the often-neglected Iraqi dialect, following a wave of successful concerts and performances inside Iraq. Saad’s new song, Magnouna, was written by Diaa El Mayali and composed by Ali Saber. A soon to be released video, shot by director Safwan Naamo, will be filmed in Beirut soon.
