Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl announced his band will be playing a gig in Italy to give back to super fans there, the group's website said.

Grohl told fans in the town of Cesena he was moved by the YouTube video of the mass gathering of 1,000 local musicians on a grassy field there last year to cover the Foo Fighters' song "Learn to Fly" and announced a return to the town the band had not visited since 1997.
