Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to the United States in September.

The Turkish presidency said in a statement today that Erdogan will participate in the 71th Summit of the UN General Secretariat on17-24 September in New York.

The statement pointed out that the Turkish President is scheduled to deliver a speech during the summit and hold several bilateral meetings with the heads and leaders of the participating countries.
