The Giza Criminal Court decided to postpone until November 2 the trial of 379 defendants of the terrorist Brotherhood group, who took part in the armed sit-in at Nahda Square in Giza.

The postponement came to continue listening to testimonies of eyewitnesses.

The defendants face charges of inciting violence, assaulting people, blocking roads and targeting public and private property following the removal of ousted President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.

They also face charges of assaulting police and army personnel as well as seizing weapons in order to spread chaos.
