Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena will be visiting China on March 26.
During the visit, Sirisena will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and other high-ranking officials, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The president's visit will take place as the new Sri Lankan government aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation with China in various sectors and looks at signing key agreements with Beijing, the statement added.
