Egypt to host key forum

The Egyptian capital will host the first Arab economic forum on environmental tourism and reserves which is co-organised by the Euro-Arab Environment Organisation and the Arab Tourist Guides Union. The event will be held on February 6, 2018 under the patronage of the Tourism and Environment Ministries and the Arab League.

Assistant Secretary General of the Euro-Arab Environment Organisation Faeq Al-Khayat said in a statement today that the forum aims to encourage investment in environmental tourism in Egypt to lure local and foreign capital, highlight economic opportunities to develop natural reserves, learn about the latest international methods and technologies in the energy field, review ways of disposing of waste and recycling sewerage water at tourism resorts and reserves as well as encourage environmental tourism between Arab and Islamic countries.

The Egyptian Environment Ministry will spotlight the economic opportunities to develop natural reserves and maintain them and the Kenyan experience in this respect.
