Deputy US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will embark on a Mideast tour Sunday that will take him to Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman and Tunisia.
In press statements, State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf said that Blinken will meet with a wide range of government officials and non-governmental experts to discuss key political, economic and security issues.
The talks will also focus on the latest developments in Yemen along with efforts of the US-led alliance to confront Daesh terrorist group, she added.
