The Supreme Administrative Court

The Supreme Administrative Court decided on Monday to set January 16 as a date to pronounce the verdict in a challenge submitted by the State Lawsuits Authority against a ruling issued by the administrative justice court annulling a deal signed by the representative of the Egyptian government on the maritime demarcation border between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Egypt and Saudi Arabia had reached the deal in April whereby Egypt was due to hand over Tiran and Sanafir isles to Saudi Arabia but the deal was suspended upon the court ruling.
