The Bahrain National Sport Day will be held this year on the 13th of February, 2018. His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa designated the annual date.

This is in line with the resolution of the heads of the GCC Olympic Committees to designate a sport day during the second week of February. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa gave directives to coordinate with government and public parties to mark the Bahrain Sport Day.

SCYS Assistant Secretary-General and BOC Secretary-General Abdulrahman Askar said that a bouquet of sport programmes and activities would be announced later. He stressed the success of the Bahrain Sport Day which was held last year, hailing the large participation of ministries, government departments, companies and people.
