Cairo - Arab Today
The administrative court has set for November 8 the ruling session in a lawsuit challenging the implementation of a previous verdict annulling the demarcation of maritime borders between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Signed in April, the demarcation agreement had stipulated that Tiran and Sanafir islands were under the Saudi sovereignty.
Lawyer Khaled Aly and others have been pressing for the implementation of the annulment verdict, where as the representative of the State Lawsuits Authority has been arguing that the ruling violated law because the agreement was a sovereign act that was not under the judicial supervision.
