US National Security Advisor Susan Rice asserted her country's unwavering support of Lebanon's sovereignty and continuous aid to the Lebanese Armed Forces.

Rice made the remarks during a meeting with former Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri, who is currently visiting the US.

Discussions between Hariri and Rice touched on the situation in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, a statement issued by Hariri's office said.
