Tourism and aviation division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce will organize on Thursday a conference to discuss demands of companies and problems they face at present as well as suitable solutions.
Vice president of the chamber Ali Shoukry stated on Tuesday that the conference emanates from the chamber's keenness on boosting different trade activities and seeks to provide solutions to pressing problems.
He said the tourism sector is a cornerstone of economy and a basic resource for the state. Developing this vital sector will contribute to ending the US dollar crisis, he added.
"It is important for all to cooperate to revive the tourism sector," Shoukry noted.
For his part, Amary Abdel Aziz Amary, the head of the division, said leaders of Tourism Ministry and the head of the tourism and aviation committee of the parliament are invited to attend the conference.
The conference offers an opportunity for probing the current status of companies and problems they face along with solutions, Amary added.
