President Abdel Fattah El Sisi left here on Friday, heading for Russia where he attends Saturday's celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day.

A host of world leaders are scheduled to take part in the event.

During his two-day visit to Russia, Sisi will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other leaders.
