Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov will visit Israel on Monday for talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Radio Israel reported Sunday.

The meeting will tackle the possibility of holding a meeting between Netanyahu and Head of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas in Moscow.

The Russian official will also head for the Palestinian territories.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is scheduled to visit the Palestinian territories in November.
