Manpower Minister Mohamed Safaan, along with Sharqiyah Governor Khaled Saeed, will inaugurate on Tuesday an employment fair in Faqous town.
As many as 40 companies will take part in the event that aim at creating 3,500 job opportunities in the northeastern governorate.
In statements, Safaan said that he directed all manpower directorates across Sharqiyah to establish contact with youths in the most deprived villages and encourage them to seize the available job opportunities, in order to combat unemployment.
The minister, meanwhile, stressed the necessity for setting a quota for people with disabilities at all employment fairs.
