Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed al Dayri will post Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby on demands of the interim Libyan government to counter the crimes of Daesh terror group on Tuesday.
The Libyan foreign minister will meet Araby prior to an extraordinary meeting of the Arab League Council held at the permanent delegates’ level upon Libya’s request to tackle Arab measures to combat the terror crimes of Daesh group against Libyan citizens in Sirte city.
Meanwhile, Arab League chief military adviser Mahmoud Khalifa stressed the importance of the Tuesday emergency meeting to seek lifting an arms embargo on Libya.
The terror threat of Daesh faces several Arab countries, requiring them to unite efforts, Khalifa said.
He expected the Libyan permanent delegate to request speeding up and activating the joint Arab action force against terrorism.
