Jordan decided on Friday to cancel exit and entry permits for Egyptians working in the kingdom, as of January 2, 2017.
Egyptian farmers, as per the decision issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Labour, are excluded from the decision, according to a statement issued by the labor representation office at the Egyptian Embassy in Amman.
Egyptian workers will be allowed to leave and enter the Kingdom at any time before the expiry of their work permits.
The entry of Egyptian workers into the kingdom should be approved according to applied measures.
