EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini is due to pay a one-day visit to Cairo Tuesday.

Mogherini will hold talks with Egyptian senior officials on bilateral relations in various fields, along with regional and international issues of common concern.

During the visit, an agreement between Egypt and the EU will be signed at the International Cooperation Ministry.

The EU top diplomat will also take part in the Arab-EU ministerial meeting at the Arab League.
