Egypt has repeatedly warned of the plague of terrorism and extremism, said Mufti's Adviser Ibrahim Negm.

During his meeting with the Australian assistant foreign minister, Negm said that Egypt's Darul-Ifta is waging a war against extremist groups.

Egypt is addressing the religious extremist issues, he added.

Darul-Ifta rejects all forms of violence and terrorism, he affirmed.
