The Egyptian-Lebanese business council will convene in Cairo by the end of March after both sides re-form it.
The meeting will be held on the fringe of the Egyptian-Lebanese higher committee.
Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil ordered forming the Egyptian side to the Egyptian-Lebanese council under Ahmed Sadeq Suwaidi, the board chairman of Al Suwaidi Group.
In a statement on Saturday, he said the formation of the council was meant to boost trade and investments between Egypt and Lebanon.
He added that coordination is underway with the Lebanese private sector to establish joint projects.
