Tourism Ministry will hold on Tuesday a major conference in Cairo under the rubric ‘Tourism in Egypt 2016 – Planning for Growth’ to discuss opportunities and challenges facing tourism in Egypt.
The conference will be attended by Secretary-General of the United Nations' World Tourism Taleb Rifai and representatives from airlines, hotels and tour operators as well as a number of ministers.
The event will hold a number of activities and seminars.
Minister for Tourism Hisham Zaazou is planned to hold a press conference at the end of the conference to announce the conference's outcomes.
This comes within Egypt's efforts to review Egyptian tourism elements and authorities' role in protecting tourists.
