Cairo Criminal Court is set to consider on Monday a request by the prosecutor general to deny the State Council's Procurement General Manager, Gamal Eddin Mohamed el Labban, and two other suspects, access to their funds and property over bribery charges.
El Labban is charged with getting a backhander from an owner of a private company and his wife.
Upon searching Laban’s house, the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) found a total of EGP 24 million, $4 million, 2 million Euros and more than one million Saudi Riyals, in addition to gold accessories.
