Cairo - Arab Today
The Arab League announced on Friday that a consultative meeting of the pan-Arab organization's council, earlier slated for Sunday, was delayed to Wednesday.
Deputy Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed bin Helli said the meeting was adjourned upon a request from Bahrain, the current president of the council.
The meeting is the first of its kind between ambassadors of the UN Security Council member states,
Helli said, asserting the importance of the meeting, especially in light of Egypt's current presidency of the UNSC.
