Former British prime minister Tony Blair has arrived in Cairo on a two-day visit.

Blair will hold talks with the Egyptian side on developments in the Middle East.

Blair has been appointed Chairman of the European Council on Tolerance and Reconciliation (ECTR), an international organization based in Brussels that fights against racism, anti-Semitism and xenophobia.
