Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi received on Thursday UN Special Envoy for Yemen, Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmed.

During the meeting, Hadi handed the envoy a letter reiterating the government's rejection of a roadmap presented by him in October, which would see the president eased out of power.

The Yemeni government wants to change the plan’s terms in order to comply with the UN Security Council resolution, according to Yemeni News Agency.
