Minister of Information, Melhem Riachy, met, at his office in the Ministry, with Director of UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, Hamed al-Hamami, and Director of Telecom and Communications ' Sector, George Awwad.

"This visit comes within the frame of the ongoing cooperation between UNESCO and the Ministry of Information," al-Hamami told reporters following the meeting.

"Our meeting aims to sign a memorandum of understanding between UNESCO and Radio Lebanon," he explained
