Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, and Mohammed Saif Hilal Al Shihi, UAE Ambassador to Canada, have discussed ways to boost cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the UAE Ambassador conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to the Canadian Prime Minister and people, on the occasion of the New Year.

The meeting, held in the Canadian Parliament, came during an official reception hosted by Stephane Dion, Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the New Year's Eve.
