Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan met on Thursday with Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri, currently on a visit to Ankara.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the future of the region as the danger of ISIS decreases. They also touched on regional cooperation in terms of economy and security as well as the situation of Iraqi refugees.
The Iraqi speaker congratulated the Turkish president on the return of stability to his country after the failed coup attempt in mid-July, noting that the Turkish experiment in preserving the state has become a source of admiration and praise.
