Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi returned home on Friday after a two-day visit to the US.

During his stay, Essebsi met with US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry.

Also, he signed a memorandum of understanding with US officials on long-term cooperation between the two countries.

A business roundtable was held between the Tunisian president and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker.
