Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid held a meeting Wednesday with Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Takashi Uto.
The meeting took up cooperation in the fields of tourism and education, read a statement by the Tunisian cabinet.
During talks, Essid asserted keenness on strong relations with Japan, the statement said.
Japan has funded 41 projects in Tunisia, the prime minister said.
