Chief of General Staff of Turkey Hulusi Akar met with his US counterpart Gen. Joseph Dunford, currently visiting Turkey.
The Turkish and American military chiefs discussed regional issues and the latest situation in Syria and Iraq.
They also exchanged ideas on driving the PYD/YPG organization out of Syrian city of Manbij, the latest situation in ISIS stronghold in Syria Raqqa, Mosul operation in Iraq and the activities of PYD/YPG group in Syria and Iraq.
The two sides stressed the importance of protecting the territorial integrity of Iraq and Syria and carrying out mutual anti-terror operations against terrorism
