Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha, received here last night H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed to the Thai Prime Minister greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and their wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Thailand.
Sheikh Abdullah discussed with the Thai Prime Minister ties of friendship and cooperation and ways to enhance them.
Sheikh Abdullah stressed the importance of exchanging visits by officials of the two countries to boost bilateral cooperation. He expressed UAE's keenness to strengthen cooperation with Thailand in all fields.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha welcomed Sheikh Abdullah and reciprocated greetings to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He praised the investment climate in the UAE which helps in attracting businesses and investments, making the country a prominent financial and commercial hub.
The meeting touched on relations of friendship and cooperation and means to promote joint investments and collaboration in advanced industries and in energy sectors.
Present were Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic Affairs, Ahmed Alham Al Dhaheri, Assistant under-secretary for Consular Affairs and Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director of the Asia Pacific Affairs at the ministry.
