Sudan and Saudi Arabia on Monday held high-level military and security talks in Khartoum.
The meeting was co-chaired by Chairman of Sudan's Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Emad Adawi and Chief of Saudi Arabia's General Staff Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al Banyan.
The talks mulled aspects of joint cooperation and coordination in the military and security fields, Adawi said.
Banyan said the talks aimed at affirming the readiness of the armed forces of the two countries to address any danger facing the Arab and Islamic region.
