Egyptian President Abdel Fatath El Sisi held a session of talks on Monday with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa at the cabinet's headquarters in Lisbon.

The talks tackled means to promote bilateral relations and other issues of mutual concern, as well as regional and international developments.

The talks came after a press conference by President Sisi and his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

The Portuguese premier will give a dinner banquet for President Sisi after the end of talks.
