Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, now visiting here, on Tuesday held a summit meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, currently in session here.

The two sides took up means of boosting joint cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations. They also discussed several regional and international issues of common concern.
