Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh received Dr. Jamal Ahmed Yacoub Kamal who submitted copy of his PhD dissertation themed "The role of water sprayers in reducing heat and poisonous gas emission in houses".

Al-Saleh stressed the importance of scientific studies and researches in promoting systems and procedures which contribute to achieving progress and sustainable development.
Al-Saleh hailed the role of scientific institutions in Bahrain in encouraging students, researches and academic figures to conduct studies that tackle vital issues.
He also lauded the dedicated efforts to researchers as well as their contribution to the development modern scientific research.
He highlighted Bahrain’s legislations and laws which protect intellectual property rights, stressing the keenness of the legislative branch of government to update laws to keep abreast of developments.
