Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting on Wednesday with South Sudan's counterpart Barnaba Marial Benjamin.

The meeting took up latest developments of political crisis in South Sudan and means to boost cooperation, spokesman for the foreign ministry Badr Abdel Atty said.

The minister asserted keenness on stability and political solution in the African country.
